PROJECT

持続可能な社会やエコをテーマとして福岡県大川市の家具工業会から依頼され企画したエキシビジョンです。私たちは、今の経済活動やモノづくりの世界において、登場人物は生産者と消費者しか存在しないことに注目しました。つまり、よいものをつくりさえすればよいという生産や、消費が潤えば生産が肯定されるといった経済的側面の強い価値観や思想です。自然や環境という地球の生態系で考えてみると、生産者（木や森）と消費者（動物）のほかに分解者（微生物）という存在がいることに気付きます。

The exhibition design which has theme of sustainability and ecology commissioned by furniture association of Okawa city, Fukuoka pref. We focused on the fact that there are only producers and consumers within economic activities and manufacturing field. In other words, there are values and philosophies which are only based on economics. For instance, producers think they only have to create things which have high quality and consumers think consume acknowledges production. When we look at nature or environment in ecological system on the earth, we notice that there are trees and forest as producers, animals as consumers and microbe as decomposers.

3者がそれぞれの役割を果たすことによって地球という生態系が持続的に循環する。実は目には見えない分解者という存在がいるからこそ木や森が育つのであり、その木によって家具生産が可能であり得るのではないかと考えます。
